I’ll discreetly be there for your proposal and am happy to help plan the sequence of events and all the details. You tell me your wishes, we go over the plan together, and I’ll make sure this moment is captured for you forever in natural-looking photos.
The surprise, of course, remains a secret. These photos are often the most emotional ones of all: no stiff poses, unposed, absolutely genuine.

Before the shoot, we’ll talk about you and where, when, and how your special moment took place or is planned to take place. Whether I’m there for a proposal or planning an engagement photo shoot with you, we’ll go over all the details together to ensure everything is well-planned and relaxed.
During the shoot, I’ll be there with you, guiding you calmly and professionally. During the proposal, I’ll capture your moment without interrupting - you’ll experience the moment, focusing entirely on each other. During the engagement shoot, I’ll guide you through the process in a relaxed manner with suggestions that don’t feel like posing.
After the shoot, you’ll select your favorite photos at your leisure. You’ll then receive the finished, edited photos to download.

What is the difference between a marriage proposal and an engagement photo shoot?
For a proposal photo shoot, I’m there for the proposal itself - usually as a secret photographer, without your partner having any idea. An engagement photo shoot, on the other hand, takes place after the proposal. During the shoot, we’ll capture relaxed photos of you as a newly engaged couple and create natural memories of this special time.
What happens during a secretly photographed marriage proposal?
Before the proposal, we’ll discuss the plan, the location, and all the important details together. On the day of the proposal, I’ll intentionally stay in the background so the moment remains natural and undisturbed. If you’d like, the proposal can also be disguised as a couple’s photo shoot, so your surprise stays a secret until the right moment.

Yes, I’d be happy to. Together, we’ll figure out what kind of proposal is right for you. I’ll help you choose the location, plan the sequence of events, and, if you’d like, take care of the little details so that the moment feels natural and personal.

A marriage proposal or engagement photo shoot can take place on the beach, in nature, in the city, or at a location that holds special meaning for you both. I often photograph around Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein - for example, on the banks of the Elbe, in the heathland, or at peaceful natural spots with a special atmosphere.
What happens after the proposal?
If you'd like, we can take some relaxed engagement photos of the two of you right after the proposal. Many couples especially love these photos because the emotions are still fresh right after saying "I do," resulting in particularly natural memories.

Yes, absolutely - many couples combine their visit to Hamburg with a marriage proposal or an engagement photo shoot. Whether on the banks of the Elbe, in downtown Hamburg, in HafenCity, or at a quiet spot surrounded by nature: Together, we’ll plan a moment that suits you and your journey. Last-minute requests are often possible as well.
