The couple had traveled from the Netherlands. Officially, it was for a concert and a couple’s photo shoot in downtown Hamburg. What the girlfriend didn’t suspect: He had a different plan.
We had planned everything together beforehand - the location, the timing, and the sequence of events. On a warm summer evening, we met near the Town Hall Square and started with what seemed like a perfectly ordinary couple’s photo shoot. Until we reached the spot we had chosen for the proposal.
The surprise was huge. The emotion was genuine. And the evening was unforgettable.
