MARRIAGE PROPOSAL IN HAMBURG'S HARBOR CITY
It was supposed to be just a nice evening during their city trip to Hamburg. What she didn't know was that he had been planning a very special surprise for months. We had prepared the marriage proposal together: secretly and planned down to the last detail, so that the two of them could focus entirely on the moment.
The sun hung low over the Elbe, bathing Hamburg’s HafenCity in warm, golden light. The water sparkled, and the Elbphilharmonie glowed on the horizon as the two strolled through HafenCity after dinner together.
Once they reached the water’s edge, the moment had arrived. He popped the question. And suddenly, time stood still: her surprised look. The smile. The ring. The embrace. The moment afterward, when you first have to realize that something truly special has just happened.
I was able to capture all of this for the two of them from a distance, without them having any idea. Only afterward did he tell her that these moments had also been captured in photos. Their joy was immense, and the surprise was a success.
After that moment of pure happiness, the two of them had some time to themselves. Afterward, we went for a short walk together. With them newly engaged, I captured even more memories for the two of them during a subsequent engagement photo shoot.
As the sun slowly set, I took their first photos together as a newly engaged couple. They were completely natural, capturing all the joy and excitement that made that evening so special.
Later, the two of them wrapped up the evening by the water, enjoying the view of the Elbphilharmonie and the sunset. It couldn't have been more beautiful.

Whether it’s completely secret or incorporated into a couple’s photo shoot, we can plan your marriage proposal so that it feels natural and true to who you are.
When I’m there to discreetly document the moment, I stay in the background and capture the moment without your partner suspecting a thing. We’ll discuss in detail beforehand where and when you’ll meet and how I can position myself unobtrusively. That way, you can enjoy the proposal all to yourselves and have photos of this once-in-a-lifetime moment afterward.
Alternatively, you can combine your marriage proposal with a couples photo shoot. We’ll start by planning your shoot in a relaxed way, just like any other couple’s photo shoot: with time for the two of you, natural photos, and a location that suits you. If you’re planning to propose during a photo shoot, ideally let me know about the surprise beforehand. That way, we can discuss all the details of the proposal behind the scenes so I can capture that special moment perfectly for you.
If you’d like, we can do an engagement photo shoot afterward, regardless of which option you choose. This will create cherished memories of this new chapter in your lives.
No matter which path you choose: The proposal shouldn’t be a staged photo shoot. It should remain your special moment, with all the excitement, joy, and surprise that make it so special.
