Family Shoot in Nature

A family photo shoot in winter full of lightness. It was a sunny, clear day in early February when I met up with this wonderful family in De Maasduinen National Park in the Netherlands. The air was cool but full of freshness - just right for a little adventure in the middle of nature.

Without any stress or staged scenes, we used the evening to just be outside together. The children were immediately in their element - running through tall grasses, flying their kites in the wind and curiously exploring their surroundings. Especially cute: the little wooden camera, with which she herself became a mini photographer - and searched for her own motifs with great enthusiasm.

It wasn't a classic family photo shoot, but rather a walk full of lightness and joy. We balanced on tree trunks, laughed, marveled and simply enjoyed this little break from our turbulent everyday family life.

The sun slowly slanted towards the horizon and bathed the dune landscape in a golden light that could hardly have been softer. One last look back, tired but happy - and with many special memories in their luggage, the family headed back home.
