Sometimes you don’t need a special place to create special memories. This maternity photo shoot took place in a relaxed atmosphere at the expectant parents’ home. The place where they feel comfortable and are waiting together for what is likely the greatest adventure of their lives.
They sat together on the sofa and imagined what their lives would be like in a few months. What would change? What would it be like to suddenly be a family of three?
Every now and then, he’d pick up his guitar and play for her while she simply listened. It was an ordinary moment and yet one that would soon take on a whole new meaning.
These were exactly the kinds of small moments I wanted to capture for the two of them: the calm before the big new chapter, their closeness, and the anticipation of their little miracle.

If English is your native or second language, your photo shoot should feel completely natural and relaxed.
That’s why I offer maternity photo shoots in English, from the first message and our initial consultation to the planning and the actual shoot. You can ask questions, share your wishes, and communicate with me in English during the shoot.
This can make a big difference, especially if you’re a couple who mainly speak English in everyday life or if your shared language isn’t German. After all, the less you have to think about how to phrase things, the easier it is for you to focus on each other and on this special moment.
For me, the language you speak isn’t the main focus. What’s important is that you feel understood, in good hands, and comfortable in front of the camera when you’re with me.
