TIME OUT AT SUNSET IN NATURE

Sometimes it doesn't take much to feel a little break from everyday life - just a favorite person, a blanket, a few treats and the setting sun over the water. For this couple shoot, we met on a warm summer evening at a secluded lake near Hamburg.

As soon as we arrived, there was a special calm in the air. The light was soft, the air was mild, the chirping of the birds sounded like the soundtrack to a perfect evening. Between a small picnic on the shore, nice conversations and quiet moments in the here and now, very natural and timeless pictures were created that evening.

A small highlight: the air bed, which we quickly converted into a mini raft. It floated quietly on the lake - with a view of the sky, nature and each other again and again. The two of them read, chatted and gave each other exactly what is often neglected in everyday life: time for each other.

I was allowed to be a silent observer and storyteller with the camera at the same time - and I took pictures that feel just like this evening: light, free and completely connected.
