The two of them were actually just passing through - a few hours to spare, a warm summer evening, and the idea: Why not just enjoy the city and capture some lasting memories at the same time?
So the three of us wandered through downtown Hamburg. Past the Chamber of Commerce, through hidden courtyards, over cobblestones, and through winding alleys. Urban, lively - and wonderfully peaceful in the evening sun.

We laughed a lot, chatted, and just took a moment here and there to soak up the atmosphere. The two of them were completely at ease, and I was able to capture with my camera what unfolded naturally.
Intimacy, genuine emotion, and a few beautiful rays of light made the evening perfect. That’s how you get photos that don’t feel like a photo shoot - but rather like a lovely evening for two that you’ll happily look back on.
