One of the first truly warm spring evenings of the year - and just the right moment for this maternity photo shoot.
Barefoot in the sand, the sound of the waves, the sun reflecting golden on the calm waters of the Elbe. In the distance, a ship drifts slowly by; sheep bleat along the dike - and right in the middle of it all, two people filled with anticipation for one of the greatest adventures of their lives.
It was one of those evenings when everything seems to stand still. And it was in this very stillness that images were captured that will preserve this special time forever.

There are many beautiful locations around Hamburg for maternity photo shoots - and for me, the Elbe beach in Schleswig-Holstein is one of the most special.
Wide-open water, an open sky, soft evening light, and a tranquility you rarely find out in the city. Especially in spring, when everything glows a rich green and the days grow longer, an atmosphere emerges here that translates directly into the photos.
The best time for a photo shoot here is just before sunset. The light becomes warm and soft, creating exactly the atmosphere that makes maternity photos so timeless.
